Visited: Summer 2014

Favourite Memory: Walking along one of the bridges we could hear music. There were a couple of guys playing music on a balcony and people had gathered underneath to dance.

In a nutshell: A walkable, friendly city.  I fell in love with it! There is lots of history and it has been restored to look like it did before WW II so architecturaly it is very interesting.

What the kids loved: The Medieval wall surrounding the city, cobbled streets, good shopping, very walkable.

The best sausages in Nuremberg!! In operation since 1419!

The Way of Human Rights.  Outdoor sculpure engraved with the Universal Declaration of Human Rights. Opened in 1993.

Hangman's Bridge and Executioner's tower, beautiful, yet macabre

The "White Tower". A medieval tower, now the entrance to the Metro

Taking advantage of teachable moments!  Guild plaques on the building.

Hospital of the Holy Spirit founded in 1332. Now it is a nice restaurant with beautiful views of the river.
